WMBR will never sell, rent, lease, or give away its mailing list to any
person or organization, including M.I.T., for any reason. Nor has WMBR ever done so in the past. The reasons we ask for the information we do are as follows:

• To contact you if there is a problem with your pledge entry.
• To mail you our program guides, if you have checked "yes" on the pledge form.
• To mail you information about other WMBR programs and events, if you have checked "yes" on the pledge form.
• To mail you your pledge drive premium, if you have requested one.
• For broad statistical studies (e.g. geographical breakdowns of the listenership, breakdowns of favorite programs, etc.)

At the present time, your email address is not even entered into our database. It is used only for the first item above, if necessary, and then deleted from our records.
