Hi Tiff,

That's really unfortunate.

If you're on Discuss and have borrowed either or both of these recorders without asking Tiff, please know that she is the custodian of the recorders and you should contact her before removing anything from that cabinet.

As for the other locked cabinets, yes, those locks were replaced several months ago by Mike Reed. Those cabinets all contain live equipment for use in A-Studio only. I have not moved the recorders into them and I don't believe anyone else with access has. The list for users of that equipment is c-control, which i've cc'ed.

Tiff, if these don't reappear soon, please get in touch with me about purchasing new units and putting measures in place to make sure they stay safe. If you need to do a field recording in the meantime, let me know what you need and I can set you up with a workaround.

Hi, all.

I just saw that the locked cabinet that we usually keep the portable recorders in (the Zoom H4N and H1) was unlocked, and the recorders are missing.

I also saw new locks on the other cabinets, so it looks like things might have been re-organized.  Anyone know where the portable recorders are, and can you give me access asap?
