Hey guys,

Here's Mike's original email on the BBE Sonic Maximizer we just received. The video explains it best. His hope is to chain it with the Warm preamp to get both gain and punch for the kick drum.

I'll install it this weekend so y'all can play with it next week!

Here's a cheap 500-series piece of gear that I think we could make good use of.  I think it would help our "disappearing bass drum" problem.. (that room eats kick drum sound).

Here's a good video showing it's effect.  In summary, it's phase correction for both bass & treble frequencies.  I.e. EQing via phase correction instead of via amplitude-gain.
