May explores how sound design relates to the physical realm. No Lands hails from NYC and many sounds heard in 'Negative Space' were created by custom audio software inspired by bodies of water, floods & water flow.
Brian House, from Providence, showcases a piece entitled 'Forty-eight to Sixteen' which will have live music written by Brian House and performed by a trio of musicians (Topu Lyo, cello; Nikolas Bentel, viola; Jacob Richman, bass) that reflects the biometrics of Brian's heart beat, pedaling, and breathing during a bike commute.
As always, the List art gallery is directly above Bartos & open until 8PM.
Location: Bartos Theater
