Legendary folksinger/songwriter Tom Rush is scheduled to be interviewed by telephone by host Eli Polonsky at 1:30 PM EST!
Credited as one of the artists who shaped the "Folk Revival" of the '60s, New Hampshire native Tom Rush began performing in 1961 while attending Harvard University, and became a regular attraction at Cambridge's influential Club 47. Tom's popular albums in the '60s introduced the public to early works of fellow songwriters including Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Jackson Browne, and helped start their successful careers.
Tom celebrated his 50th anniversary of performing with his documentary DVD "Tom Rush - No Regrets" and live CD/DVD "Tom Rush: Celebrates 50 Years of Music".
Tom will perform with singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Matt Nakoa Friday, November 6 at The Cabot Theater in Beverly MA, Saturday, November 7 at The Narrows Center in Fall River MA, and Sunday, November 8 at The River Club in Scituate, MA. Listen for your chance to win tickets to the Beverly show!
