Originally aired:
Larry Azrin is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his first ever show on WMBR, by playing a few of the tracks he played on his very first WMBR show (Lost & Found, on January 17th, 1996) and some Lost & Found-era tracks that charted at #20 on the Hot-100 Billboard singles charts and #120 on the Bubbling Under Billboard singles charts. Mostly, though, he is playing the same mix of birthdays (Ernie K-Doe, Mick Green of Johnny Kidd & The Pirates), recent deaths (William Guest, lifetime 'Pip' in Gladys Night & The Pips; Stevie Wright, lead singer of the Easybeats; Lemmy of The Rockin' Vickers, Sam Gopal and Hawkwind; 50s sax player Joe Houston; R&B singers Otis Clay and Clarence Reid; pre-Eagles Glen Frey), listener requests and new material to the WMBR record library that he's been doing for the last twenty years.
