The Blue Ribbons join 88.1 fm WMBR's Three Ring Circus, Friday, January 11 at 5 pm. Boston's Blue Ribbons bring their soulful grooves to WMBR's 3 Ring Circus. Singer James Rohr can whisper in your ear like Elvis Costello or growl like Tom Waits all while pounding the keys like a Dr. John trading jazzy rolls with bluesy licks reminiscent of Leon Russell and Garth Hudson. Accompanied by stellar musicians including guitarist Mike Castellana (Sarah Borges/Eddie Kirkland) we're filling the studio with a whole lotta soul. So come and git a fill up.
