Sarah Borges and members of the Blueheels join WMBR's 3 Ring Circus, Friday January 18 at 5 pm. Last time Sarah Borges visited the 3RC she was about to release "Diamonds in the Dark" her Sugar Hill debut. Several months and thousands of touring miles later, the release has popped up on critics faves of 2007 from No Depression, Time Out New York, and the Boston Globe. No surprise to the Boston audiences familiar with Borges' electric performances. During her extensive touring she saw the Blueheels in Madison, WI and was so impressed with their music, she invited them to open for her at a pair of homecoming shows this weekend at the Lizard Lounge. She'll also be bringing members of the Blueheels to the WMBR studios to introduce them to 3RC fans. Gotta share the good music when you hear it. Sarah Borges & the Broken Singles play the Lizard Lounge this Friday and Saturday Jan. 18 & 19th. The Blueheels open both nights.
