Tift Merritt Joins WMBR's 3 Ring Circus Program

Tift Merritt will swing by the WMBR studios at around 5pm with guitar in hand and throw down some soulful and twangy sounds. The Grammy nominated artist (Tambourine) went to France to take a break from the rigors of touring and Another Country was born. Another Country, her upcoming release on Fantasy Records (due Feb. 26), finds her in fine voice and delivering the lyrical goods. We'll talk to her about the new release and her new radio show, The Spark with Tift Merritt, where she interviews musicians about their creative process. Lots to talk about and to hear, so a 'Circus not to miss. Merritt has no live shows planned this time through Boston, so this is a special event indeed.
