A spotlight on the six-decade career of William Smokie" Robinson, covering not only his classic recordings with The Miracles (1958 to 1972) and subsequent solo career, but also a sampling of the many great songs that he wrote (both well-known and obscure) that were recorded by other artists, that prompted Bob Dylan to refer to Smokie as "America's greatest living poet".
