Anyone familiar with Soft White Underbelly? No? How about The Stalk-Forrest Group? Nothing? Ok...let's try this: Blue Oyster Cult. There, I see a show of hands. All three bands come from the same musical source, and that would be Buck Dharma, a killer songwriter and guitarist, the one constant throughout the Cult's long history. Yes, he penned all the biggest hits: "(Don't Fear) The Reaper (1976)," "Godzilla (1977)," and "Burnin' For You (1981). We'll ponder the meaning of it all in interview and song. Hosted by Bob Dubrow. Blue Oyster Cult perform at the Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury, MA on Thursday, November 1st.
