Girls Guns & Glory Join WMBR's 3 Ring Circus Program

Girls Guns & Glory return to the Circus at around 4:30pm with a batch of new tunes from their 3rd release, Inverted Valentine (self). Inverted Valentine continues the great mix of rock and twang of GGG earlier releases with extra literary bite for the lovelorn on songs like Six Sixty Seven and Baby You're a Dog and Only One Thing -- sounds like a perfect summer date. With songs like these it's no surprise they are getting noticed around Boston, winning 2007 Boston Music Award for Outstanding Americana Act of the Year, 2007 FNX/Phoenix Best Music Poll for Best Roots Act and Best Local Band. In fact, we're doing this one a little early so the band can get to Harper's Ferry in time for sound check for the Rumble Finals later in the evening. So tune in early, you don't want to miss this.
