There will be an interview and performance with Girls Guns & Glory at around 5pm. Girls Guns & Glory mix a healthy dose of country twang with their rock. Reminiscent of early Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins, with a hint of Chris Isaak courtesy of vocalist Ward Hayden, GGG can deliver a foot-stomping romp one moment, then croon a country tune the next that has you almost hearing the crackle of the fire and the howl of a lonesome coyote. Winner of 2007 "Best Local Band," by the Boston Phoenix Reader's Poll, we welcome this South Shore quintet to the 'Circus.
