Blues outfit the Mississippi Sheiks created an indelible classic in 1930 with Sittin' on Top of the World, no relation to popular ditty of a similar name from 1926 (aka Rolling Along). Sittin' has found a home amongst several genres, becoming a standard of country, bluegrass, rockabilly and acid rock. We'll endure two hours!
