"My Conversation," the 1968 tune by the Uniques, is a landmark in Jamaica not just for being a delightful love song/civil rights anthem with an infectious piano intro. It also deserves a place in the canon for laying the ground work for two hallmarks of Jamaican music: the riddim record and the dub record. "My Conversation" has served as a basis of hits over several decades. We'll hear variations and versions for two hours on Subject to Change
