Gongs: No experience necessary. Or so it seems. There are plenty of songs in the Lost & Found era that begin or end with a gong, and occasionally they are heard somewhere in between. I think of gongs in rock as a gimmick suggesting solemnity...or perhaps the mystical. Perfect for exploitation, and exploit we shall in these gong shows...in memory of Chuck Barris.
