Legendary folksinger/songwriter Tom Rush is scheduled to be interviewed by telephone by host Eli Polonsky at about 1 PM EST!
Credited as one of the artists who helped to shape the "Folk Revival" of the '60s, New Hampshire native Tom Rush began performing in 1961 while a student at Harvard University, and soon became a regular attraction at Cambridge's influential Club 47. Tom's popular albums in the mid '60s introduced the public to early works of his fellow songwriters including Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Jackson Browne, and helped to start their successful careers.
Tom recently celebrated his 50th anniversary of performing with the release of his documentary film "Tom Rush - No Regrets", and will be hosting and performing at "The Club 47 Tradition Continues" concert with the Jim Kweskin Jug Band Reunion including Bill Keith, Geoff Muldaur and Maria Muldaur, plus Patty Larkin and Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, on Saturday, December 28th at Boston Symphony Hall.
Location: 88.1 FM
