Zappa Plays Zappa is an American tribute act led by Dweezil Zappa, the eldest son of late American composer and musician Frank Zappa, devoted to performing the music of Frank Zappa. Since 2006 Dweezil Zappa has led his highly acclaimed group through more than 500 world wide performances and over 275 compositions spanning the breadth of his father's deep catalog. Bob Dubrow talked to Dweezil on the phone for well over an hour on Wednesday, August 6, a few weeks after Zappa Plays Zappa performed in early July at the Shalin Liu in Rockport, MA. A recording of that interview interspersed with music by father and son will be aired this Monday the 11th on Lost & Found at 12:00 noon.
