WMBRlive: Snarky Puppy plays at Killian Hall

Hailing from the music center of Denton, Texas, Snarky Puppy is a ensemble that performs a new strain of jazz/funk/world music. The band members are easily at home in numerous genres of music, all of them playing professionally in Dallas and most of them with degrees in jazz performance. They are touring the Northeast in support of their third album "Bring Us the Bright." Before concert, they will conduct a clinic with MIT's Festival Jazz Ensemble.
