Folksinger/Songwriter Tom Rush Performs Live on WMBR's Lost & Found Program

Was aired on the program: Tuesday, December 16, 2014
12:00pm - 2:00pm

Legendary folksinger/songwriter Tom Rush is scheduled for a live in-studio interview and performance with host Eli Polonsky at 1:15 PM EST! Credited as one of the artists who helped to shape the "Folk Revival" of the '60s, New Hampshire native Tom Rush began performing in 1961 while a student at Harvard University, and soon became a regular attraction at Cambridge's influential Club 47. Tom's popular albums in the '60s introduced the public to early works of fellow songwriters including Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Jackson Browne, and helped to start their successful careers. Tom recently celebrated his 50th anniversary of performing, and is celebrating the DVD release of his documentary "Tom Rush - No Regrets" at this years "The Club 47 Tradition Continues" concert at Symphony Hall on Sunday, December 28th, performing with guests including vocal trio Red Molly, fiddler Monica Rizzio, saxophonist Grace Kelly, and his own three piece band.
