Dori Freeman Performs Live on WMBR's Lost Highway Program

Dori Freeman is from Galax, Virginia, a town with a long Appalachian musical history. Her first album came out last year and was produced by Teddy Thompson. Her latest, Letters Never Read, comes out on October 20th and was also produced by Teddy Thompson. The new album displays the continuing growth of her songwriting as well as one of the finest new voices on the scene. She was in the area this weekend and graciously accepted an invitation to stop by the WMBR studios to perform and chat with me this morning, from 9-9:30am.
