John Frazier was in the award winning Colorado bluegrass band Hit & Run until 2007, when he moved to Nashville. He has played in the John Cowan Band and the the Jim Lauderdale Bluegrass Band, as well as performing with Del McCoury, Tony Rice, JD Crowe, Sam Bush, Bela Fleck, John Prine, and Dierks Bentley, among others. His newgrass band, FrazierBand, is a quintet and was formed in 2010. They have one release out (self-titled, 2012) and are currently working on another. They're in town Friday, October 3, at Johnny D's at 10pm with Muddy Ruckus. This morning they'll join host Doug Gesler at 9:30 for a few songs and to catch us up on what they've been doing.
